2011 saw the growth in themed childrens parties continue. While all the traditional favorites such as Dora the Explorer and Mickey Mouse remained popular the rise of Fireman Sam and the Smurfs was dramatic.
With the Smurfs movie in the cinema and topping the sales charts on DVD the demand for Smurfs themed product was significant. The full range was selling through with the tablewear and favors such as bubbles proving very popular.
As more parents opt to save money by having 'stay at home' parties it is clear that this trend is here to stay in 2012
